My Shared Faith, a subsidiary of Godzway, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Millbrook, Al, formed in 2014 to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of people in distressing situations. The organization offers free faith-based products and services designed to encourage and inspire hope.
Our mission is to provide products and services to those experiencing emotional distress within the communities we serve.
Our vision is to build faith within our communities by fostering a sense of connectedness through inspirational products, support services, and education. Meeting our goals will ensure spiritual, behavioral, and mental wellness in underserved markets.
Our products inspire hope and come with a message of faith printed inside that reads, "You are not alone".
Our goal for 2023 is to extend our impact beyond a physical product, we are building a robust peer support chat support platform facilitated by trained individuals.
In addition, we are partnering with an extensive network of mental health professionals for the purpose of referring clients who may need crisis services.
We strive to encourage those who may be at risk of losing faith, hope, and mental stability due to life-altering events. We need your help to continue this program.
Why are you doing this now?
Covid-19 played a large role in the spike of behavioral health issues within our communities, with the closure of many churches and other social outlets people are experiencing a time of isolation now more than ever.
Peer support improves the quality of life, increases and improves engagement with services, and increases whole health and self-management. (Mental Health America, 2018).
It is time we join forces to ensure we all navigate through life successfully during times like these.
